YOGA TEACHER & SOUND HEALER

Trained in the Himalayan Mountains, I completed my 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training and 20 hr Sound Healing Certification at the Nepal Yoga Academy.

For over a decade, yoga has helped me with anxiety and depression. I began my daily practice as a way to feel grounded and present, and overtime discovered that I feel the most creative during and after a yoga class. My mind is clear and as a writer I’m able to see stories I’ve been writing in a different way. When I feel connected to my physical body, my creativity flourishes - writer’s block disappears, my next great idea comes to me, the task of having to start a new draft seems exciting rather than daunting.

I enjoy exploring the connection between physical movement and creativity. The purpose of yoga is prepare your body for meditation, to stretch and strengthen your physical body so you can sit in a meditative posture. Yoga can do the same for creativity too, allowing you to stay in a creative mind space without being distracted by your physical body.

In my hatha style classes, you’ll connect breath to movement while doing basic postures and focusing on alignment. You’ll the class feeling more grounded, present, and connected to yourself.
