LAUREL KULOW

WRITER | DIRECTOR | PRODUCER

Laurel is a director, writer, producer, and editor. Her short film All You Want To Know was selected for the 2022 Portland Film Festival, Massachusetts Independent Film Festival, and Austin Indie Fest where she won Best Director and the film was nominated for Best Short Film. The script for All You Want To Know was a finalist for the 2020 Atlanta Film Festival and the 2020 Blue Cat Screenplay Competition.

Laurel has produced content for Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, BET, and Vice Media. She is an Executive Producer and co-founder of Let That Marinate Productions and a part of the comedy sketch duo Shabs & Laurel Forever. Her comedy work has been featured on Funny or Die and Whohaha. She created, directed, and acted in the web series’ Letters to Quarantine and Impodsters, and has produced many short films including Mr. Oberbeck, which premiered at the 2022 Lower East Side Film Festival and The Woods, which premiered at the 2018 Brooklyn Horror Festival.

Laurel graduated with a B.A. in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California (Fight on!). She is a member of the WGA.

STEPHANIE RODRIGUEZ

PRODUCER | PRODUCTION DESIGNER

Stephanie is a producer, actor, and accomplished dancer. Notably, she recently showcased her diverse talents in the comedy short Bouquet Toss, where she not only produced but also contributed her acting and production design skills. Currently, Stephanie is in the creative throes of developing her short screenplay, Entangled, while simultaneously navigating pre-production for an upcoming spec commercial set to film in October. 

She has over a decade of experience in competitive dance encompassing Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. Originally from Miami, Florida, she embarked on a new chapter in 2020 when she relocated to Austin, Texas, infusing her work with fresh inspiration and Latin fire.

JOAN DESCHAMPS

“DEBBIE”

Joan grew up on a working ranch in Montana. She moved to Chicago in the 70's where she was directed by Laurie Metcalf, John Malkovich, and Terry Kinney. In 2022, she was cast in 9 short films, 3 indie features and 4 commercials. She currently trains at Carol Hickey Acting Studio, Austin and she loves dogs.

JANET BERNSON

“LUCY”

Janet is an actor, comic, interdisciplinary expressive artist, storyteller, playwright, author and op ed writer. As a young actor, she trained with theatrical greats Jeff Corey and Bruce Dern. Regarding her appearances on screen, she calls herself a late blooming Boomer. She can be briefly, but memorably seen in the Ferin Petrelli’s award winning web series Love and Other Mishaps', Olivia Maaghul’s 48 hour Femme fest entry Undiagnosed, and most recently Laurel Kulow’s award winning Bouquet Toss. She is represented by her agents Porter, Zappa and Lulu, LLC (they are also her dogs who drive a hard bargain).
